ABOUT ARLIE

Dental practices have plenty of software. They still need management intelligence.

Arlie began with a simple observation: the information needed to run a dental practice already exists, but understanding what that information means for the business still depends heavily on people assembling the story themselves.

THE IDEA

The practice is one business.
Management should be able to see it that way.

The data exists.

Clinical systems, schedules, claims, financial records and daily operations already produce enormous amounts of information.

The context is fragmented.

Each system understands its own part of the practice. Management is still responsible for connecting those pieces into an explanation.

The decision remains human.

Arlie is designed to give management a better explanation of what is happening and what to consider doing next.

WHAT WE ARE BUILDING

An intelligence layer for the dental practice.

Arlie connects information across the systems already running the business and builds an evolving model of how the practice actually operates.

NOT A PMS

Arlie does not replace the system of record.

Practice-management systems remain responsible for the operational functions they already perform.

NOT ANOTHER DASHBOARD

Arlie does not stop at displaying metrics.

The objective is to interpret relationships across the practice and identify what deserves management attention.

NOT A SCRIBE

Documentation is not the category.

Arlie is focused on understanding and improving the business of the practice rather than simply documenting individual encounters.

NOT AUTONOMOUS MANAGEMENT

Management remains in control.

Arlie provides evidence, diagnosis and recommendations. People make the decisions.

THE STANDARD

Don't just identify the problem.
Explain it.

01

See

Understand what is happening across the practice.

02

Question

Consider more than one explanation for the visible problem.

03

Recommend

Give management a specific action and the reasoning behind it.

04

Measure

Determine whether the intervention actually changed the outcome.

05

Learn

Use the result to improve the next decision.

WHY DENTISTRY

Complex enough to need intelligence.
Connected enough to make it possible.

A dental practice combines healthcare delivery, scheduling, staffing, insurance, collections, physical capacity and patient behavior inside one operating business. Small changes in one part of that system can create consequences somewhere else.

That makes dentistry an unusually good environment for intelligence that can reason across the business rather than optimize one isolated function.
CURRENT STATUS

Arlie is being built now.

The current site presents the product thesis, management model and private product preview. It is a development environment, not a claim that every production capability described here has already been deployed.

PRIVATE PRODUCT PREVIEW

The easiest way to understand Arlie is to see it think.

Start with a real practice problem and follow the reasoning from symptom to diagnosis to management action.
